At Radiqal Movement, personal training provides a space for confidence-building, akoranga/learning, and joyful movement. Rooted in our values of body neutrality, manākitanga, and holistic hauora, each session is tailored to you, considering how you feel on the day, accessibility needs, gender-affirming support, and personal goals. We focus on movement that feels affirming, builds confidence, and helps you foster a positive, sustainable relationship with exercise. Our trainers will use your correct pronouns, body-neutral language, and adapt sessions to ensure you feel supported. If you are new to Personal Training with Radiqal Movement, our starter package allows us to understand how we can best support you along this journey. It involves two sessions: 1) Initial consultation: a 30 minute pre-programme get-to-know-you chat via Zoom. This will include a discussion of your exercise history, current relationship with movement, and personal goals. From this session, a personalised exercise programme/guide will be created for you. 2) Personal Training session: a 45 minute one-on-one personal training session at the Grey Lynn Studio or via Zoom. We'll thoroughly go through your new programme, introduce and refine new exercises, guide you in using the equipment, and ensure you feel confident and supported moving forward. When booking, choose a day/time for our Initial Consultation chat (1). Once booked, a Radiqal Movement trainer will be in contact with you (via email).








Cancellation Policy
This policy outlines key details to ensure clarity and alignment with our values. 1. Booking and Scheduling: Bookings for the training starter package can be made online through our website. Our cancellation policy still applies. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the session. 2. Payment and Refunds: Payment for the training starter package is required in full before the first personal training session. Refunds are not available once the initial consultation has taken place, as this includes pre-screening and preparation of your tailored training program. 3. Initial Consultation: The initial consultation includes a comprehensive pre-screening, featuring a queer-tailored version of the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q). This form is completed collaboratively during the consultation. A tailored training program is provided in a PDF format, and exercises and progress tracking are managed using the 'STRONG' app. 4. Personal Training Session: The package includes one personal training session lasting between 45 minutes and 1 hour. Subsequent sessions are 45 minutes, with an additional 10-minute buffer time for post-session support. Personal training sessions are fully customised to meet individual accessibility needs, ensuring all clients feel safe and supported in their movement journey. 5. Client Responsibilities: All clients must sign the Client-Trainer Agreement Form before beginning their training. This form outlines our cancellation and payment policies. Clients are expected to adhere to our Radiqal Rules (available online) and studio rules, which are displayed prominently in the studio. 6.
